Workplace: 100% remote from Poland

Start: ASAP (max. 30 calendar days' notice)

Cooperation: B2B with ITFS

Salary: 160-200 PLN/h + VAT (no paid holidays)

Working hours: standard, core hours 10:00-15:00, occasional meetings with the US in the afternoon/evening

Recruitment process: short interview with ITFS (approx. 15 min) ➡ max. 2 soft-technical interviews with the Client ➡ decision

Scope of responsibilities

Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications and backend services in a production environment
Creating and developing APIs and integrations with external systems
Designing application architecture, data models, and solutions that ensure high performance and reliability
Collaborating with the product, front-end, and DevOps teams
Optimizing application performance, diagnosing problems, and resolving bugs
Creating and maintaining automation tests, ensuring code quality
Participating in code reviews and co-developing standards
Supporting CI/CD processes and application deployments

Sought-after competences

Minimum 6 years of experience in backend software development in a similar position.
Very good knowledge of Python and TypeScript.
Experience working with modern frameworks, e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask, NestJS.
Experience in API design and implementation (REST and/or GraphQL).
Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling.
Experience working with Git.
Knowledge of best practices in testing, security, and code quality.
Ability to work in Agile/Scrum.
Must have at least B2 English language proficiency

Preferred:

Experience with React.js or Vue.js
Knowledge of microservice architecture
Experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD tools
Experience with event-driven systems (event-driven architecture, messaging systems)
Knowledge of application monitoring and observability tools
Experience with AI/LLM solutions
