Scope of responsibilities
  • Creating and maintaining stable data pipelines and processes in the Palantir Foundry platform.
  • Using PySpark and Python to process, transform, and integrate data from various sources.
  • Designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Working closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other engineers to transform business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security at every stage of processing.
  • Diagnosing, debugging, and optimizing data processes for performance and reliability.
  • Documenting architecture, processes, and best practices to support the team and share knowledge.
Sought-after competences
  • Experience in Palantir Foundry: creating and maintaining data pipelines, integrating data sources, and supporting ontologies.
  • Spark/PySpark – data processing and transformation in a distributed environment.
  • Python – data automation and processing.
  • SQL – advanced data queries and reporting.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and working with large data sets.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

 

Nice-to-have:

  • Higher education (computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related).
  • Palantir Foundry certification (Foundational/Professional).
  • Experience in a dynamic data environment.
  • Knowledge of big data or cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Databricks).
